Alpha Twitter Review: Internet Calls Alia Bhatt’s Spy Drama A Cringe Fest; Urges Everyone To Skip It!
Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari and it was released on July 3.
Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s Alpha was one of the most talked-about films of the year. As the first spy story led by women in the YRF Spy Universe, it created massive buzz with its teaser and posters. Now the film is out, and early reviews from viewers have started coming in. Sadly, most reactions on X (formerly Twitter) are not good. People who waited eagerly for it feel let down after watching. Read on to know more about it.
The story follows a skilled assassin who tries to destroy her stepfather’s secret soldier programme. Along the way, she comes face to face with another dangerous assassin. The plot promises action, family conflict, and thrills. However, after watching the full movie, many viewers felt the story did not live up to the high expectations.
Here is my review for Alpha!
If I had to describe this movie in one word then SHIT would be appropriate.
I mean how can they make this crap? Who green lit this project?
I really hope YRF gets bankrupt after this atrocious movie.
Matlab iss movie mai sirf hugga hee hai.

Most people on X (formerly Twitter) gave it poor feedback. They said the story felt too common and copied ideas from other films. The first half kept some hooked with the performances, but the second half became boring and messy. Viewers complained about weak writing, poor action scenes, and dull background music. Even the special cameo and fights could not save it.
Many liked the moments between Alia and Sharvari but felt the film lacked real emotion. The characters did not connect with the audience. Some said the visuals and overall making looked cheap. While a few parts were entertaining, most agreed the movie failed to deliver.
In the end, most believe Alpha will struggle at the box office. They suggest watching it at your own risk if you still want to check it out. The big hype before release could not cover up the problems in storytelling and execution. It turned out to be a major disappointment for fans hoping for a fresh and powerful female-led spy movie.
