Alia Bhatt and Sharvari starrer Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail, is this week’s much-anticipated release. The trailer of the film has promised an action-packed spy thriller from the YRF Spy Universe, also starring Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor. The film is set to hit theatres on July 3, and the CBFC has also given it a pass with a few cuts in the violent scenes. Read here to know more about it.
CBFC Suggests Cuts In Alia Bhatt’s Alpha
While the Central Board of Film Certification has not recommended many changes in Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s Alpha, they have asked the makers to cut down on the violent scenes in the film. As per the news reports, CBFC has suggested that the makers tone down a particular multiple-stabbing sequence with some other alternative clips. They have also suggested removing some foul words from the scenes and a modified visual for the same. According to the reports, the CBFC has also asked for the addition of an anti-alcohol disclaimer, and English subtitles have been added to the songs, too.
Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s Alpha has got a UA 16+ certificate after the suggested changes. On the other hand, the lead actors are currently busy promoting their film across the country. The film’s pre-booking has also started, as per the official announcement from the Alpha team.
For the film’s promotion, Alia Bhatt and Sharvari also featured on the first episode of Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent season 2 that streamed on Netflix and YouTube.
