This comes after the actress’ recent interaction with the said film’s actor Prabhas on social media. Neither of them directly said anything about the upcoming film, but many think that they allegedly hinted at it on their respective pages!

The speculations began after Prabhas shared his thoughts on Alpha’s trailer on his Instagram page. He called it “amazing and promising.” The actor also wished Alia Bhatt, the team, and the production company Yash Raj Films all the best. Later, the actress reshared the said story and thanked him, along with using the sun emoji. This interaction turned out to be the catalyst for the Alia Bhatt’s alleged feature in the Kalki’s sequel. A person on social media reportedly stated that the actress using a sun emoji might be related to Karna from the film. Another user wrote that the actors sharing each other’s stories was allegedly a confirmation that Alia is part of Kalki 2.

Deepika Padukone, who starred in Kalki 2898 AD, was slated to star in the sequel as well. However, her exit from the film led many to wonder who would be a part of it. For a long time, fans attached many names to the project, including Sai Pallavi. As per a report by Hindustan Times, many speculated that Alia was confirmed for a new role in the upcoming film sequel. A spokesperson was asked to clarify the rumors of her filming scenes. They stated, “No shooting,” which at the time dismissed rumours about the same. When they were asked if she was finalised for the film, they stated that there was no official clarity yet. It was also revealed that someone posted it on social media, and everyone else copied and pasted it as news, adding that there’s definitely no clarity regarding her casting yet.
Now, fans are waiting for Alia Bhatt and Prabhas to comment on the rumours. As far as Alpha goes, it will be released on July 3!
