Anushka Sharma Slams Media Portal For Invading Alia Bhatt’s Privacy, Recalls How They Shared Vamika’s Pics
Anushka did not mince her words in calling out the media portal.

Several celebrities in the past have talked about how their privacy was invaded by media photographers or paparazzi. We have seen instances on social media where photographers have hounded celebrities to click their pictures and videos even when they were off duty. Chalo, some might argue saying that if a celeb is spotted in a public place, it will cause curiosity and a media frenzy but what about the times when the celeb is at their home? Alia Bhatt has called out a popular entertainment portal for clicking her pictures when she was at her home and has called it a ‘gross violation of privacy’. Anushka Sharma, too, has supported her and recalled how the same portal did a similar thing to them.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Anushka Sharma shared Alia Bhatt’s post wherein she called out the entertainment portal for crossing lines and invading her privacy. The Chakda Xpress actress wrote that this is not the first time this portal has done something of this sort. She added that she and Virat had called them out for violating their privacy.
Anushka went on to write this site was the one that was repeatedly posting pictures of their daughter Vamika despite her requesting them not to. Anushka Sharma was pretty mad at the site and said that past instances would have taught them something, and also went on to call them ‘shameless’.

In the original post, Alia Bhatt mentioned that she was enjoying a chill afternoon in her home when she felt someone was watching her. She wrote when she looked up, she saw two men with cameras facing her. She also tagged the Instagram handle of the Mumbai Police to seek help from them. Many other celebs like Janhvi Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor have also called out the media portal for their unacceptable behaviour.

The paparazzi culture has grown exponentially in the last few years where they have forgotten to draw a line between when and when not to click pictures of celebrities. The sheer entitlement that they hold is wrong on so many levels, and we are glad that celebs are calling them out on it.
