Alia Bhatt On BMC Radar For Not Following Covid Guidelines After Attending Karan Johar’s Party

The world is going through a tough time because of the pandemic and it’s our duty to follow the rules to fight against it. According to the rules, a person with high risk contact with an infected person is required to home quarantine for 14 days. Apparently, Alia Bhatt broke this rule by going to Delhi to promote her film. Currently, BMC is investigating the matter and may take action against Alia Bhatt.

Recently, Kareena Kapoor, Amrita Rao, Seema Khan and Maheep Kapoor tested positive for Covid-19. Alia Bhatt attended a Karan Johar’s dinner party with them including Arjun Kapoor, so as a safety precaution whoever came in contact with them had to follow the covid guidelines and quarantine themselves. Even though Alia Bhatt’s report was negative, she had to follow the same. But she went to Delhi to promote her upcoming film Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor and posted some pictures too.

On getting this information, the health department of BMC H West ward contacted Alia’s manager on Wednesday. The health department had advised the Highway actress to stay in Delhi after breaking quarantine norms. However, Alia returned to Mumbai late at night on Wednesday. *shaking my head*

Recently, BMC revealed that Seema Khan’s son and sister tested positive. A total of 8 people who attended the party and their contacts have tested positive so far. The positive case comes a week after Bollywood director Karan Johar threw a private bash for around a dozen people at his home. According to the reports, they are showing mild symptoms and have been shunted to home quarantine in their sealed flats while the BMC H-West Ward has taken up the sanitisation of the buildings. The civic health authorities traced around three dozen contacts of the celebs who attended the party at Johar’s and they have been sent for genome sequencing to eliminate the fear of Omicron variant.
