We Think Akshay Kumar’s First Look As Chatrapati Shivaji In His Marathi Debut Film ‘Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat’ Is Very Convincing!

For his debut in the Marathi film industry, the actor has chosen to play the role of the gallant Maratha king, Shree Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and the movie is titled Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat. The film has been directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and produced by Qureshi Productions. The first glimpse of Akshay’s look was dropped on December 6, Tuesday.

On December 6, on their official social media handle, Akshay Kumar shared a short video of his entire look as Shree Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He can be seen in a white kalidar kurta and has kept a beard just like the brave king. Akshay proudly walks, perfectly in his character. His strong and elegant body language speaks a thousand words. The background score is upbeat and celebratory. It syncs with the visuals, and it already symbolises the strength and pride with which Akshay Kumar will be playing the role of the celebrated Maratha King.

Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat will be based on the story of seven valiant warriors whose life’s only purpose was to make Shivaji Maharaj’s dream of Swarajya come true. And the story from the golden pages of history will release in 2023, during the festival of lights, Diwali. It will release in four languages- Marathi, Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
