For the unversed, Anup Soni was the host of the show for the longest time, but he has now been replaced by Indian actor Ajay Devgn. Is Ajay Devgn Hosting Crime Patrol?
As per an exclusive India Today report, Ajay Devgn has been taken as the host of Crime Patrol, earlier hosted by Anup Soni. With this, the actor will also be making his Television debut. As per the reports, the show will now focus on new-age crimes, and a source has told the publication that Ajay Devgn has already shot a few episodes of the show, including the promo. The report further suggests that the makers thought Ajay Devgn would be the perfect fit for the show as he has already played a cop in his popular Singham franchise, and therefore was the right person to lead a show focused on various crimes.
Furthermore, the source suggests that actor Ajay Devgn is also quite excited to join the show as the host, and the promo for it will be live soon, giving audiences a glimpse of what crime stories to expect in this new season.

Beginning from 2003, Crime Patrol had various parts to its franchise. The show brings gut-wrenching real-life crime cases in India. It will be interesting to see how the show works around with its format to appeal to the current audience. Ajay Devgn as the host already has us looking forward to it!
