Neha Bhasin On Bhumi Pednekar

In her latest post, Neha Bhasin has slammed Bhumi Pednekar and stated that she too would respect PM Modi had there been slamming of the police personnel openly harassing women at the protest. He questioned why these actions were not spoken about but the “some abuses” became a larger issue. She stated that he himself acknowledged them as kids but at the same time the police, who should be there to protect them, was the one harassing them without any accountability. Bhasin further added that Bhumi remained “scripted” about the protests just as she was in the reality show Lock Upp, and asked her to “keep her mouth shut.” For the unversed, Bhumi appeared in the last week’s Judgement Day episode of Lock Upp along with Huma Qureshi.

The actor’s video came after India saw huge protests at the Jantar Mantar  due to the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak. This was helmed by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) which saw thousands of students coming from all over the country to Delhi to demand accountability about this flaw in the education system. They also demanded the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan, which happened eventually, along with the removal of all FIRs against the protestors. Things had taken an ugly turn on July 20th after the police started beating the students with batons and tear gas.
