According to SM Entertainment, the K-pop idol started feeling unwell before the group’s concert in Miami. Even though she was not feeling well, she still chose to perform because she wanted to be on stage with Karina, Giselle and Ningning. However, her condition did not get better after the concert.
After the Miami show, Winter went for a medical check-up. She was diagnosed with shingles, which causes a painful rash and blisters and can make a person feel unwell. As Winter needed time to recover, doctors advised her to rest and not perform at the Dallas concert.
Even after her diagnosis, the K-pop idol wanted to join the Dallas show as much as possible. However, following medical advice, she decided to sit out the concert and focus on her recovery.
SM Entertainment also shared that Winter was looking forward to meeting her fans in Dallas. She was said to be disappointed about missing the concert but needed to put her health first. The agency said it would continue to support Winter during her recovery and help her return to the stage when she is ready.
