Many actors and actresses have revealed horrifying experiences on the casting couch which bring some darker realities of the acting industry to light. The shameless and ugly ways in which aspiring actors are exploited with the promises of being featured in films and serials are disgusting. Recently, TV actor Ratan Raajputh also opened up about one of her worst casting couch experiences from the time when she had just entered the industry. Ratan recalled this incident during one of her interviews to let the young generations make aware of the harsh realities that continue to exist in the industry.

Ratan Raajputh has been featured in many well-known television daily soaps and is a popular household name. But the actress had to go through some bad experiences along the way. During a recent interview with Aaj Tak, Ratan recalled an incident when she was called for an audition in a hotel in Mumbai’s Oshiwara. Ratan told that she also met many other actors at the audition venue, however, the director was not present for the same.

Ratan added that a junior colleague was conducting the auditions and they also praised her for doing well. The actress further added that she was called for another interview in the hotel and was given a script. But the fishy part about the whole incident was that the host insisted Ratan and her friend drink the cold drinks that were served to them. Ratan recalled that she was called for another audition by them but she started to feel dizzy after she returned home. Ratan then suspected that there was something wrong with the drink and never actually went for the second round of auditions.
