Actor Eva Grover Recalls Abusive Marriage With Ex-Husband, Aamir Khan’s Step-Brother!

Recently, actor Eva Grover opened up about her marriage to her ex-partner and Aamir Khan’s step-brother, Hyder Ali Khan. She spoke at length about how they married after just dating for 18 days, and then went on to recall how her marriage turned violent in no time. Read on to know more about it.
Eva Grover On Her Abusive Marriage
It takes immense courage to recall a horrible past. Recently, actor Eva Grover spoke about her marriage to her ex-husband Hyder Ali Khan. In a conversation with Vickey Lalwani, Eva revealed that she had only been dating the man for 18 days before marrying him. She also went to take some of the blame for the failed marriage, and recalled how she did not listen to her mother, and ran with the man during the peak of her career. She left with him on the 19th day, and they got married, as per the actor.
According to Eva Grover, in no time, she realised that the man was the same one she had married. She further spoke about his extreme anger issues that extended to a level which she had never seen in men while growing up. Eva Grover refrained from revealing much about the violence, but she revealed that her ex-husband was “physically violent.” The actor further revealed that she was ready to have a child with him after 4 years in hopes that everything would be fine, but within one month of their child’s birth, she lost patience, Eva Grover added. The actor also acknowledged the support she got from her colleagues and how they encouraged her to walk out of the marriage and even talk to her mother. During that time, she was a part of the show Waqt Batayega Kaun Apna Kaun Paraya. Eva Grover added that eventually things worked out with her mother, too, and the latter accepted her back.

Eva Grover, however, went on to praise filmmaker Tahir Hussain, Aamir Khan’s father, who raised Hyder. She talked about how he spoke to her and got emotional while talking. Eva also called her mother-in-law a “golden-hearted woman”.

On the work front, Eva Grover has worked in several shows and films. Her characters are memorable from shows like Karishma Kaa Karishma and Kumkum: Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan.
