Abhishek Bachchan Praises Aishwarya Rai!

During Abhishek Bachchan’s recent interview with Deccan Chronicle, he opened up about the time he first crossed paths with his wife. The actor stated that they met during the shoot of their 2000 film Dhai Akshar Prem Ke. But at the time, the thought that she would be his soulmate hadn’t crossed his mind yet. The couple eventually fell for each other while working on Umrao Jaan. The actor recalled that they tied the knot a few months after their film Guru, directed by Mani Ratnam, was released. He stated that they consider the filmmaker both a dear friend and a godfather. While talking about Aishwarya Rai, he gave her full credit for bringing up Aaradhya with the right values. He stated that the actress is not just the mother to their daughter but also his “soulmate.”

Abhishek Bachchan Has Big Plans For Their 20th Anniversary

Anhishek Bachchan then reportedly mentioned, “Nineteen years of our marriage has been a dream. I have big plans for our twentieth anniversary, but I am not telling you about them now.” He also talked about the secret to a successful marriage; Abhishek shared, “Every night, before you sleep, say ‘sorry’ three times to your wife without fail.” 

For the unversed, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, who are considered the royal couple of the Hindi film industry, tied the knot in 2007 and welcomed their daughter Aaradhya in 2011.
