They are India's Superwomen!I believe it was after the 2019 film, Mission Mangal, that people were curious about Indian female scientists, and wanted to know more about their contriution to Indian space development. And now, after Chandrayaan 3’s safe soft landing, pictures and videos of the female scienetists who were responsile for the mission’s success have been shared on social media. On that note, we need to talk about the Indian female scientists who have contributed greatly to making India rank among the top space exploring countries.

1. Ritu Karidhal
Known as the Rocket Woman of India, Ritu Karidhal, has contributed greatly towards India’s Mars Mission, Mangalyaan, and also is the brains behind the recently landed Chandrayaan 3.

2. Moumita Dutta
A physicist by professio, Moumita Dutta, works at the Space Applications Centre, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Her notable contributions to the Mars Orbital Mission, 2014, made it a huge success.
3. VR Lalithambika
VR Lalithambika is a part of the Indian Human Spaceflight Programme Gaganyaan this isworking to send three Indian astronauts to space for a period of seven days. She has been a part of ISRO for around 30 years.

4. Nandini Harinath
Nandini Harinath was one of the leading ladies of the Mars Mission and was the Project Manager for the project. Her interest in science sparked from a young age as her father is an engineer and her mother is a math teacher.

5. Muthayya Vanitha
Muthayya Vanitha was the first female project directer of the Chandrayaan-2 lunar mission and has been working at ISO for around 30 years. She has also been bestowed the Best Woman Scientist in 2006.
6. Anuradha TK
One of the most senior scientists at ISRO, Anuradha TK, has been working at ISRO for over 30 years now. She promintetly works wih sending communication satelittes in space.

7. Minal Rohit
Minal Rohit started working at ISRO as a satellite communications engineer and was a part of the Mangalyaan as well. She was also a project manager for Chandrayaan 2.
