I am sure this will be the most bizarre news for the day. A woman renting out her husband to make more money, saying he is handy around the house? In this viral story, a woman from the United Kingdom has put her husband’s DIY skills on rent so that other households can get the benefit of it, in turn, her family could also make some extra money. She has legit started the service of “Hire my handy husband”.
The wife who goes by the name of Laura Young had put out a Facebook post for this service too. Wondering from where did she get this bizarre idea? Laura picked up the “rent my husband” from a podcast that told a story about a man who used to make money by assembling furniture for other people. Since Laura’s husband was also great at DIY skills and had made custom beds and dining tables for their house, Laura thought it to be a good idea to put his husband’s skills for making more money. However, Laura also clarified how many people mistook “renting husband” for the wrong context. Further elaborating on this she said that she would never do such a thing, despite the cost-of-living crisis, as per news.
Laura also created a website for this service and also put out a Facebook post on the same. She listed all the skills of her husband and stated that he is the best at DIY skills, Laura is also convinced that many people were interested. She also mentioned the hiring charges for every work.
