A Twitter User Turned To Varun Dhawan For Help In A Domestic Abuse Case, Actor Quickly Responds
Social Media is a very empowering tool in the world we live in. We should know how to make the right use of it, especially women. A few days ago a girl from Delhi made headlines when she used Twitter as a platform to raise her voice against a sexual abuse incident. She had alerted all relevant authorities about the incident. The authorities responded immediately to this help. Because this is a public forum, even higher authorities do not take such tweets lightly and act quickly. Another incident of this nature has recently come to light. This highlights the case of domestic abuse, which is a raging issue in India. In this case, however, the girl has approached Bollywood celebrity Varun Dhawan to share her agonising experience and seek his assistance.
In the recent incident, a girl yet again took the help of Twitter to speak up about domestic abuse happening to her and her mother. A Twitter user by the name of Vaidehi tagged Varun Dhawan in the tweet. Vaidehi also asked for Varun’s help. She revealed in the tweet that her father has beaten her several times and that he abuses her mother on a daily basis. The girl hails from Gujarat and her Twitter thread clearly reflects her helplessness. She also mentions in the tweet that the Gujarat Police has failed to give them any justice despite providing all the proof against her father. Vaidehi is enraged by the fact that her father has been cheating on her mother and she openly points this out in her tweet.

Varun Dhawan was quick to notice the Twitter user’s tweet. He responded by saying that it is a serious matter and he will definitely come forward to help and talk to the concerned authorities. It is indeed a relief to see a celebrity step up and help his fan with a serious domestic abuse case.
