The user in the Twitter thread has talked about the importance of getting married before 25 and has even warned the girls of all the consequences if she doesn’t end up doing it!
Well, a Twitter user had some unsolicited advice for women. As per the user’s tweets, it’s better for a woman to get married before 25. The thread further read that if any girl fails to do so, she might end up not getting proposals or in worst-case scenarios, can even get rejected by the man. Well, the thread of advice does not stop with this. The user further goes on to write that unless a girl comes from a wealthy family or earns, there are bleak chances of her getting considered by men after 25.
Sisters should try getting married under 25.

The use acknowledged the fact that except for some exceptions, this practice of getting married before 25 is seen in the Muslim community. For men, the user wrote that if they are wealthy, they are easily getting a woman even in their 40s because they face no kind of restrictions!

Okay, so since we have now got some super important pieces of wisdom from the Twitter user, it’s time we start to understand how problematic this whole thread is, and that too on how many levels. Why are there no restrictions for men because people like this particular user make it sound like that it’s a belief and set-up that cannot change and is inevitable, so better ask women to make adjustments. For women, the rules always have to be, the same, and by that I mean, the “Restrictions” and regressive set of rules. I cannot believe the fact that even in the 21st century, this user had the audacity to guide women on when they should get married, and how they should prioritise their careers and education. People like them make marriage for women, such a big deal! It’s the traditionalist notions like this that make women think they are not good enough or capable of getting married after they cross a certain age.
