NCIB Says Creeps Staring At Women For 14 Seconds Can Be Jailed, Tweeple Wonder Whose Counting!
Uncomfortable stares on the road are a common occurrence for women. We can never understand a man’s obsession with constantly staring at women and making them conscious. However, a recent tweet by the National Crime Investigation Bureau has informed all of us that staring at a woman or girl for 14 seconds is a punishable offence that can land a man in jail. Although Twitterati has all sorts of funny reactions to this, at least it is a helpful piece of information for all women.
National Crime Investigation Bureau took to its official social media account to tweet this information on how staring at a woman is considered a punishable offence. The tweet highlights that any man can be jailed for staring at a woman or girl for more than 14 seconds. It is also considered to be a serious crime that comes under molestation. According to IPC 294 and 509, staring is punishable and leads a man to jail.

The tweet further informs that any person who is caught whistling, passing filthy comments, or singing songs at a woman can be punished for up to three years. The accused can also be punished to serve one year of jail term or will have to pay a penalty. In some cases, it can be both.
