This ‘Kesariya’ Cover Replaces ‘Love Storiyaa’ With Something Brilliant. Just Listen!
One of the most anticipated movies of all time is none other than Brahmastra. The movie has been grabbing headlines ever since motion posters and the first looks of the actors – Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan, and Nagarjuna – were dropped. In fact, the recent reason why the movie is trending on Twitter is that the much-awaited song ‘Kesariya’ was released. However, the excitement that people around it fizzled out ever since they heard the song. And I don’t blame them – I mean, just to rhyme with Kesariya, they used the words ‘love storiyaan’. Yep, that actually happened. In fact, Twitter started with a meme fest using those words.
Ngl, I and somewhat most of Twitter are in love with the chorus of ‘Kesariya’ song, but it is just the lyrics of the rest of the song that didn’t sit well with us. Among all those who took to the social media platform to comment on the song, one of them shared her own version of the song and desi Twitterati thinks it is better than the original.

Yep, a Twitter user by the name of Simmi recently shared her own rendition of the ‘Kesariya’ song and captioned it, “since nobody liked the ‘love storiyaan’ part..” In her version, she keeps the start of the song as it is, but instead of going with the ‘love storiyaan’ lyrics, she adds lyrics from the song ‘Laree Chootee’ by the band named Call. The song is a part of the album Dhoom which was released in the year 2011. She then goes back to singing the chorus of ‘Kesariya’.

No sooner did the tweet got published, than desi Twitter was all over it. Most of them were of the opinion that she only should have sang the cover as her voice is so melodious and others complimented her for the smooth transitions between the two songs – ‘Kesariya’ and ‘Laree Chootee’.
