Liger Song ‘Akdi Pakdi’ Has Upbeat Music And Energy That Make Up For The Slightly Cringe Lyrics
The upcoming sports action film Liger causes a stir on social media every time something new from the film is dropped. Last time, it was the new poster from the film featuring Vijay Deverakonda holding nothing but a bouquet of roses modestly that had set interest on fire. And this time, it is a new song from Liger that fans have already begun grooving to. The song is titled Akdi Pakdi and it is sung by Dev Negi, Pawni Pandey and Lijo George. The music for the same is composed by Lijo George and DJ Chetas. The lyrics of the song are written by Mohsin Shaikh and Azeem Dayani.
Akdi Pakdi Song Review
The song begins with a child singing Akdi Pakdi in their voice while in the background Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday are enjoying a romantic bike ride. The frame then sees Vijay getting down from an open auto in full swagger and he then breaks into a full energetic dance. For about 40 seconds there are no lyrics, just very high and upbeat music playing with the lead actors performing the hook step. Finally, when the lyrics are heard, they talk about how Vijay fell in love with Ananya at first sight. The rest of the lyrics are also along the same lines.
It is quite a high-tempo song which I feel will become a sensational party anthem this year. Even though the lyrics are slightly cringy, the music makes up for it and you will find yourself tapping your feet to it as well! Vijay Deverakonda does a paisa-wasool dance while Ananya oddly cannot match up to him. Their chemistry is also cringe-worthy, to be honest. They do not look good together, at least in the song. Let’s see how they fare in the film.
