While I usually don’t really like idealizing celebrity couples as I believe that the portrayal of love and relationships on social media and pop culture is slightly misrepresented. However, there are some that I can’t help gushing over and one of them is Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were the co-hosts of Met Gala 2022. Reynolds was seen wearing a tuxedo by Ralph Lauren for the theme of this year’s Met, ‘Gilded Glamour and White Tie’. Blake looked absolutely stunning wearing a custom Versace dress which was inspired by Art Deco design. The dress also had the details of New York’s famous landmarks.
A video of Blake’s gown unfolding has gone viral as it spreads across the stairs of the Met. But what has gotten a lot more attention was Ryan’s reaction to Blake’s eye-catching outfit. Three men helped her with her dress. They unfurled the blue ribbon which showed another layer of blue underneath. Her copper gloves were also revealed showing off blue ones underneath. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have my entire heart and soul. And can we just appreciate how he admires her even after all this time? More so, Blake never disappoints when it comes to the Met so yeah, he should admire her!
