Shamita Shetty Talks About Overcoming Depression, Says She Makes “Conscious Efforts” To Avoid Relapse

Do you know that according to the National Mental Health Programme an estimated 6 to 7% of the population suffers from mental disorders? While we’ve got the conversation going around mental health, it still continues to remain a social stigma and we still have a long way to go in terms of normalising mental health illnesses and seeking professional help. But thankfully, our Indian celebs are doing their bit by talking about mental health and opening up about their problems in a bid to normalise them. We’ve heard several celebs talking about battling depression and the latest one on this list is Bigg Boss 15 contestant Shamita Shetty.
