Viral Magazine Cover On Nepo Babies Kickstarts A Memefest On Twitter

The discourse around nepotism has honestly become a boring track for Bollywood. With new star kids getting breaks in this business of glam, a section of the audience seems to find it difficult to digest it all. And while the world loves to slam these kids with big Bollywood khandaans, they also obsess over their fashion, and lifestyle through the tiny lens of paparazzi. Giving a new twist to this crisp conversation around nepotism was the leading international magazine–New York Magazine, which put a face of Hollywood’s biggest face on its front cover, with no glitzy hair or makeup, but photoshopped versions of a baby. The issue investigates the families of these stars who not just got ’em great looks, but their parents’ connections too.

And little did they know or may be did, the cover blew up like a volcano, and yes restarted the ongoing saga of the birth of a nepo baby, and their spoon-fed success. With a controversial conversation on the internet, we found many praising the magazine for putting the tool of journalism to great use. Popular Instagram handle–Diet Sabya, also reiterated a version of the cover with famous faces of Bollywood’s nepo kids.
