Most of us have of course watched Emily In Paris for the plot. I mean, Lucas Bravo and his mesmerising blue eyes being the plot. And while we wait for a new season of the American in Paris show, what we hope to binge-watch is our beloved Gabriel, just smirking in every episode. Besides some popular projects in his kitty, Mr Bravo, has decided to gift us some extra screen time of his face through a breakthrough outing on the runway. Finally, the actor seemed to fulfil his dream of walking the runway at the ongoing Paris Fashion Week.

Walking for menswear designer Louis-Gabriel Nouchi, (wow the coincidence of names), our beloved Lucas sported an ash grey ensemble from the designer’s Autumn/Winter 2023 collection. Completing his Sherlock-esqué ensemble, the actor was seen wearing a floor-length, double-breasted coat with structured shoulders and pockets to fit his hands, dressed in glossy gloves. Giving the autumnal aesthetic a corporate twist, Lucas wore a crisp white shirt with a tie in the shade of black. What welcomed more eyeballs, was a splash of blood, painting a side of his face and hair sealed with a gel, unlike his caramel tresses in every episode of Emily In Paris.

The interesting touch added by the blood was an indicator of the designer’s inspiration, which was a loaned from Bret Easton Ellis’ popular novel–American Psycho and its film adaptation in the same name, featuring actor Christian Bale.

Despite the neat tailoring and of course a marvellous surprise by Lucas walking the runway, the internet applauded Nouchi for the impeccable casting. Amongst a string of models, The White Lotus fame actor–Stefano Gianino sported a piece from the collection in flavourful colours.

Besides presenting unconventional faces on the runway, the designer talked the reporters through the collection and called it his way of dismantling toxic masculinity with a totally contrary character, sitting on the collection’s mood board. While many seemed impressed with the collection, and Nouchi’s choice of the theme, most found themselves drooling over Lucas Bravo!
