Twitter User’s Regressive List Of Qualities Of “High Value Woman” Gets Slammed By Other Female Users
Women’s Day is just around the corner and there are many conversations happening around it. For women, there are always been a set of rules that they are expected to adhere to. With changing times, we are fighting against such regressive ideas and trying to make space for a woman’s individuality. But someone on Twitter has given out a very problematic list of becoming a “High-Value Woman” and has received a serious backlash from another user. Influencer and actor Kusha Kapila had the best reactionary statement for it.
A Twitter account that goes by the name of Megha posted a list of all the qualities that make a High-Value woman. According to the list, a woman whose Body Mass Index (BMI) is less than 23, who can cook at least three meals and also are capable of having conversations on any kind of topic makes a woman, the high-quality one. In fact, she should also be likeable by animals, children and older people. Browney points out as per the tweet also women are not only any kind of drugs.
How to know if you are a high value woman:
– BMI less than 23
– You can make at least three delicious meals from scratch
– You can hold an interesting conversation on any topic
– Children, animals and old people trust you
– You are not on Birth control, weed or SSRIs or any drugs— Megha (@meghaverma_art) March 1, 2023
There were many women users on Twitter who thrashed the idea of making a list of what will make a woman of “High-value”. The idea of setting unrealistic standards for women to achieve so they could become desirable and attractive was called out by Twitterati.

What a crock of patriarchal shit. I'm sorry you have such a low opinion of yourself and women.

Birth control makes you lose value? Why?

BMI, BC, SSRIs? Oh honey, a true high value woman places a lot more value on themselves than this shallow list. (I would know. I’m fat, smart, and medicated.) I know my worth and add tax.

Influencer and actor Kusha Kapila retweeted it and wished everyone a “Happy Low-Value Women’s Day” The sarcasm perfectly came out in this reply and well, who wants to stick to such lists anyway in order to be termed as a “High-Value Woman”

It’s absolutely ridiculous how people come up with such a demeaning list for women. Especially, to see some people actually agreeing with this thread and the idea that such qualities will make a woman of higher quality.
