Did You Spot Kubbra Sait In Apple TV+ ‘Foundation’ Teaser? It’s A Sci-Fi Series Starring Jared Harris And Lee Pace!
Can I just say that our girls are really going places and I am so proud of them? I know it’s a bit far-fetched to label them ‘our girls’, but I just can’t help feeling all that second-hand excitement! First it was Priyanka Chopra Jonas rubbing shoulders with the who’s who of Hollywood and working with all my dream men like Zac Efron, Tom Hiddleston and now Richard Madden and Sam Heughan. Then Huma Qureshi recently got to work with Zack Snyder and Daye Bautista in Army Of The Dead and floored them all with her talent. And now we’re going to see Kubbra Sait alongside Jared Harris (Chernobyl) and Lee Pace (The Hobbit) in a new sci-fi series for Apple TV+, called Foundation, the teaser for which dropped this week! See what I mean by “our girls”?

What’s Foundation about?
Ah, I am glad you asked. Foundation is the first ever screen adaptation of Isaac Asimov’s novel of the same name. It’s official synopsis says, “When revolutionary Dr. Hari Seldon predicts the impending fall of the Empire, he and a band of loyal followers venture to the far reaches of the galaxy to establish The Foundation in an attempt to rebuild and preserve the future of civilization. Enraged by Hari’s claims, the ruling Cleons — a long line of emperor clones — fear their grasp on the galaxy may be weakening as they’re forced to reckon with the potential reality of losing their legacy forever. The monumental journey chronicles the stories of four crucial individuals transcending space and time as they overcome deadly crises, shifting loyalties, and complicated relationships that will ultimately determine the fate of humanity.”
Okay, I love this genre, and I am super pumped for this series to drop.

There are a number of reasons to hype up this show. For starters, David S. Goyer (Batman Begins, Man Of Steel) is the showrunner and executive producer who is bringing this treat to us. And if you’ve seen the teaser, it looks pretty amazing. Sci-Fi shows require a certain scale and gleam in terms of production value, and Foundation looks top-notch in that respect.
The cast for Foundation is equally heavy duty, with Emmy Award nominees Jared Harris and Lee Pace, alongside Lou Llobell and Leah Harvey, Laura Birn, Terrence Mann, Cassian Bilton and Alfred Enoch. And of course, apni Kubbra!
The teaser gives us a very fleeting glimpse of Kubbra Sait and we don’t know much about her character as yet. But rest assured, she looks pretty badass and I am toh super excited to find out more.
