‘HOTD’ Ep 9 Twitter Reactions: Fans Love Rhaenys’ Bad-Ass Behaviour Even Though It Was Quite Uncharacteristic
The ninth and the second last episode of House Of The Dragon has shaken the viewers! So much went down in the episode that it is quite difficult to comprehend it yet feel excited about it! As the ritual goes the audience immediately went on to Twitter to share their reactions and views about this episode titled ‘The Green Council’. Obviously, people could not stop gushing about Rhaenys Targaryen’s exhibition of loyal, violence and bravado! And as usual, Ser Criston Cole seemed to have pissed off a lot of people as well! *sigh* We expected good from you, Criston! Apart from that, Aegon’s coronation causes a lot of chaos in King’s Landing and even at Dragonstone where Rhaynera and Daemon have gone back to!
Praise came pouring in for Rhaenys who rode on her dragon Meleys and broke through the dragonpit to threaten Aegon and Alicent while also declaring she is on Rhaenyra’s side. People were in awe of her because Rhaenys because she has never displayed violence before in the show. She has always been calm even while voicing her dissent.

Phew! Finally, we got to see some action in House Of The Dragon episode nine after so many episodes of just plain politics and incest. The tenth episode which will also mark the finale of this season is highly looked forward to as season two is expected to be released in 2024. A very long wait, indeed!
