The first week of August is celebrated as World Breastfeeding Week. The week is dedicated to spreading awareness about the benefits of breastfeeding and why it is important for new mothers to feed their babies for six months of infancy. This is also the perfect week to thank several actors who have championed breastfeeding and have supported the cause through their respective social media as well.
