I remember reading the Summer trilogy by Jenny Han when I was a teenager and now I can’t wait to watch the series featuring Lola Tung as Isabelle ‘Belly’ Conklin, Gavin Casalegno as Jeremiah Fisher, Christopher Briney as Conrad Fisher, Sean Kaufman as Steven Conklin, Jackie Chung as Laurel Dunne, and Rachel Blanchard as Susannah Fisher. The trailer of The Summer I Turned Pretty got released yesterday and looks like we are going to witness the To All The Boy I’ve Loved Before magic all over again. The two minutes and three seconds long video showcases the beginning of Belly’s journey of finding the right person. My favourite part of the trailer is definitely Laurel and Susannah’s adorable friendship, these two women are made for each other. Female friendships have my heart!
