‘The Broken News’ Teaser Ft. Sonali Bendre And Jaideep Ahlawat Is Attention-Grabbing And Sensational
When I was younger, one of the actresses I really liked was Sonali Bendre. Other than being beautiful, she is so talented and graceful that I couldn’t help but be in awe of her. And my respect for her as an actor and a human being just grew from there after her struggle with cancer. So as you can imagine, I was super excited to hear that she was going to be making her OTT debut with The Broken News on Zee5 after having been seen last doing a cameo on Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara. Now the teaser for her upcoming show is here and I cannot wait to see more!
The Broken News, an original drama series in which actor Sonali Bendre makes her OTT debut with ZEE5, is the first Hindi project to be unveiled as part of this ongoing collaboration. The Broken News is an adaptation of the renowned British series, Press directed by Vinay Waikul, starring Sonali Bendre, Jaideep Ahlawat, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Indraneil Sengupta, Taaruk Raina, Aakash Khurana, and Kiran Kumar.

The plot centres on two rival news networks based in Mumbai: Awaaz Bharati, an independent, ethical news station, and Josh 24/7 News, which encourages sensationalist and invasive journalism. It also features the interactions between the key characters in their search for news.
The teaser for ZEE5’s new series The Broken News was shared on their official Instagram account. They captioned the post saying, “Official Teaser | Abhi abhi khabar aayi hai ki your daily dose of breaking news will now be taken over by #TheBrokenNews, coming soon only on #ZEE5”.
The Broken News will be streaming from June 5, 2022.
