Tejasswi Prakash Is The Winner Of ‘Bigg Boss 15’, Beats Pratik Sehajpal And Karan Kundrra
What Indian reality TV show comes to your mind when I say the word “drama”? For me, it is Bigg Boss as it has had a history of providing a platform to the most extra celebrities and bringing out the worse in people, providing us, the viewers with the most entertaining ever. This year was no different with Bigg Boss 15 which really went OTT with its grand finale. However, the wait is over and the winner is none other than… drumroll please… Tejasswi Prakash! She beat beau Karan Kundrra and Pratik Sehajpal to win the trophy. The Swaragini actor was earlier in the day also announced as the new Naagin in Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 6. Whatte double whammy!

The season started with 16 original contestants or housemates: Jay Bhanushali, Vishal Kotian, Tejasswi Prakash, Vidhi Pandya, Simba Nagpal, Umar Riaz, Ieshaan Sehgal, Donal Bisht, Akasa Sing, Karan Kundrra, Afsana Khan, Miesha Iyer, Sahil Shroff, Pratik Sehajpal, Shamita Shetty and Nishant Bhat. However, there were a few wildcard entries such as Rajiv Adatia, Raqesh Bapat, Neha Bhasin, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Rashami Desai, Rakhi Sawant, Ritesh Kumar and Abhijit Bichukale. Bigg Boss 15 started broadcasting on October 2, 2021, and the finale (and the winner announcement) was all set for Sunday, January 30, 2022, on Colors TV.
Former winners of Bigg Boss like Gauahar Khan, Shweta Tiwari, Urvashi Dholakia, Rubina Dilaik, and Gautam Gulati performed in the finale of Bigg Boss 15 which was hosted by Salman Khan. Salman Khan performed on this extravaganza of a grand finale before the announcement of the winner. Shehnaaz Gill even performed a heartfelt tribute to former Bigg Boss winner and late actor Siddharth Shukla. The BB15 finalists Nishant Bhat, Shamita Shetty, Rashami Desai, Pratik Sehajpal, Karan Kundrra, and, Tejasswi Prakash also performed in the finale. The cast of the upcoming movie Gehraiyaan, starring Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Dhairya Karwa also graced the stage of Bigg Boss 15 and announced the final eviction.
Shamita Shetty was the last one evicted before the winner was announced to be Tejasswi. And while there was lots of speculation about who would win, there were plenty of reasons why Tejasswi was a likely winner. For one, her no-bullshit attitude, her loyalty and her excellent performance in tasks really helped her popularity. But I also like to think it was her romance with Karan Kundrra that got her a lot of attention.

Tejasswi Prakash will be taking home the coveted Bigg Boss trophy and a whopping ₹ 50 lakhs, while Pratik and Karan will take home ₹ 40 lakhs. She was clearly a fan-favourite and proved herself to be worthy of winning Bigg Boss 15. She maintained her conduct throughout the show even if that last-minute tussle with Shamita Shetty soured the experience for a bit. But none of that matters now, does it? Congratulations to Tejasswi!
