Swara Bhasker Shuts Down Keya Ghosh For Slut Shaming Tweet And Questioning Her Hijab Advocacy
Amidst the ongoing Karnataka Hijab row, many celebrities such as Swara Bhasker, Richa Chadha, Sonam Kapoor etc have come forward to speak against the hijab ban. However, this has obviously attracted a lot of haters towards these women and they have been subjected to trolling because of their views. I feel like Swara Bhasker has heard a lot of uncalled for shaming and trolling for being very vocal about her support for Muslim girls. She recently slammed Keya Ghosh, the Vice president of the BJP Mahila Morcha for slut shaming her on Twitter.
Vice president of the BJP Mahila Morcha, Keya Ghosh took to Twitter on February 12. “That is @ReallySwara my friends, who is advocating for Hijab,” the tweet was captioned. The tweet showed a picture of Swara looking absolutely gorgeous wearing a mini skort-dress which showed her legs off.

However, Swara had a befitting response to the slut shaming and replied in fiery tweet saying, “Yeah, it’s me.. looking bomb Thank u! Thanks for sharing this pic of mine & reminding the world that I’m also a hottie ! I advocate Women’s right to choose their clothing.. you know ‘choice’ –koi nahi aap rehney doh.. aap karo slutshame kisi aur ko- usmey bhi fail.”

Well, Swara Bhasker isn’t wrong here. Considering that the fight is to give women the choice to choose how they dress, it is naive to compare her advocacy for the hijab with her own choice in clothing.
