Swara Bhasker Receives Anonymous Death Threat Letter For Old Tweets About Savarkar
Swara Bhasker is a critically acclaimed Bollywood actress who has an impressive account of roles in the industry. She has been a part of many well-known movies. But the actress has also been caught up in many controversies for her outspoken nature on the issues pertaining to our Indian society. Swara has always spoken her mind, which has often led her to life-threatening situations as well. In a similar incident, the actor received an anonymous death threat letter.
Swara Bhasker received the letter to her home address via a speed post. The letter was written in Hindi. It contained some really demeaning and abusive words. The letter was written in reaction to a 2017 tweet that Swara had made over Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, a known figure in the Hindu Mahasabha. Swara immediately filed a complaint against this at Versova Police Station, as per news. The police while commenting on the situation have said that a non-cognisable offense has been registered against an unknown person, and the investigation is ongoing.

Swara Bhasker had also taken to her social media account to put forth her opinion condemning the Udaipur killing and demanded strict action against the culprits.
