Sushmita Sen Talks About The Time Her Motherly Instincts And Proactiveness Saved Baby Renée’s Life

And the former Miss Universe – Sushmita Sen is definitely one of them. Recently, she opened up about the time her motherly instincts saved her eldest daughter Renée’s life when she was a baby.

As we all know, actress Sushmita Sen has broken many stereotypes and the biggest one was when she adopted her elder daughter when she was just 24 years old. In an interview with Twinkle Khanna, the Aarya actress recalled the time when her motherly instincts saved Renée Sen’s life when she was just a baby. She said that Renée was unfit for adoption as she was sick when she was a baby and she was very careful with her. Sushmita mentioned that her mother used to tell her that she was overreacting and she can’t run to the doctor every time the baby had a fever. She then went on to talk about the time when she picked up Renée from her crib and she was wheezing. After that, she immediately went to the hospital. Sen added that her daughter almost died that night but the instincts of a mother and proactiveness saved her. Well, now we know that mothers know best!

Sushmita Sen explained that Renée had a condition known as bronchial water and had to stay in the hospital for a few weeks.
