Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga Released
The trailer begins with Pankaj Tripathi aka Gangaram, the sarpanch of Jhundao village, sitting in a government office talking to an official about how the wild animals destroy their fields and asking if there is any scheme released by the government. In the next frame, he addresses a small gathering in the village and says that if a human is attacked by a tiger near the tiger reserve area, the government gives Rs 10 lakh to their family. He, then, goes on to take this responsibility on him to make himself prey for the tiger.
But Gangaram meets a poacher in the jungle but he is not aware that a poacher illegally kills animals. He teams up with him to face the tiger. Later, he is caught and presented in court on the charges that Gangaram tried to illegally kill the tiger.

Pankaj Tripathi being his goofy self keeps it light and funny while also delivering a serious performance. It will be very interesting to see how the events unfold in the film.
