Salman Khan Weighs In On Will Smith And Chris Rock Oscars Slap, Says Hosts Shouldn’t Cross Limit
The one thing that Salman Khan is known for other than all his Bollywood controversies, Bigg Boss and the iconic Dabangg belt shake, is his equally (if not more) iconic Dabangg dialogues. The actor who said, “Pyar se de rahe hai, rakh lo, varna thappad maarke bhi de sakte hai,” Salman Khan, has come forth and put in his 2 cents on the opinion well regarding Will Smith and Chris Rock slap gate of the Oscars 2022. Was it a historic moment in Oscars history? Absolutely yes! Salman has spoken about the Will Smith slapping Chris Rock on the Oscars stage and said that it is the host’s responsibility to know their boundaries and not cross limits. At least he is siding with the person in the right here.

Salman Khan has had quite a bit of experience playing host as he has experience hosting the majority of the seasons of Bigg Boss alongside taking on the duties of IIFA, spoke about the Oscars controversy with Chris Rock being slapped by Will Smith. Salman said that the host should be sensitive and humour shouldn’t be below the belt. He then went on to list shows like Bigg Boss and Dus Ka Dum which he has hosted in the past.

Salman further added that whenever a contestant angers him while hosting Bigg Boss, he is vocal about it but doesn’t cross any limits. He said that it is important to remember that the contestants are also living in the house and performing; hence, it is important to be sensitive towards them. Salman then said that the contestants understand that no one likes a blabbermouth or loud mouth and that being that way will cause their career to suffer as no one in the film industry will like them, according to reports.
