‘Rudra: The Edge Of Darkness’ Trailer: Crime Thriller Starring Ajay Devgn, Esha Deol, Raashii Khanna Looks Gripping
Ngl, it’s been a while since I have seen a good crime thriller coming out of the Hindi entertainment industry – whether it be a series or a movie. But with all the excitement going around the Hotstar special series, Rudra: The Edge Of Darkness, I knew I had to watch the trailer when it came out. And let me tell you, I was not at all disappointed. Rudra: The Edge of Darkness, starring Ajay Devgn, Esha Deol, and Raashii Khanna as leads, is as intense as it gets and looks oh-so-promising!

In the Hotstar special series, Rudra: The Edge Of Darkness, Ajay Devgn is seen playing a cop named DCP Rudra Veer Singh, who is chasing criminals in Mumbai. From the trailer that was dropped on January 29th, 2022, it seems as though on his journey he even fakes a friendship with a genius sociopath, Aliyah who is played by Raashii Khanna.
The Rudra trailer also follows a complex, intense relationship between Rudra played by Ajay Devgn and his wife who is played by Esha Deol. The crime thriller is a series directed by Rajesh Mapuskar and spans across six episodes. Rudra: The Edge Of Darkness is supposed to be an Indian adaptation of Luther, a British series, so you know that the mark is pretty high up.

From the Rudra: The Edge Of Darkness trailer, one thing is clear, this Hotstar special series starring Ajay Devgn has a dark, complex narrative that dives deep into the psyche of highly intelligent criminals and an intuitive, instinctive cop that chases them.
In all honesty, this trailer has made me anticipate the release of the show way more than I thought it would. And even thought he release date is not out yet, I can’t wait to watch the series when it comes out!
