Rohit Shetty Announces Filming Of Upcoming Cop Series ‘Indian Police Force’. Sidharth Malhotra Demands Our Attention And How!
Since I was a child, I have (and I assume you have) associated Rohit Shetty movies with explosions, comedy and intense action sequences. However, as the years have progressed, Rohit Shetty has created his own series of cop movies such as Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi which the filmmaker dubs as his “cop universe”. However, now there is a new instalment to this cop universe as it goes digital for the first time ever. Rohit Shetty has collaborated with Amazon Prime Videos to create a series featuring Sidharth Malhotra named, Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force. The announcement of the upcoming series is here and when I say it looks iconic, I do not exaggerate.
Yesterday, Sidharth posted a bit of a teaser to this announcement as we saw him wearing a police uniform in a picture he shared to his Instagram. While Rohit Shetty doing a cop movie isn’t anything unheard of, I am curious to see how his elaborate storylines that create an impact on the audience within the run time of a movie translates into a series. However, Amazon Prime has also dappled in their own cop related to action/thriller series such as Mumbai Diaries 26/11 and The Family Man so with both of them collaborating, I am interested to see what happens.
