Rishabh Pant Rubbishes Urvashi Rautela’s Claims Of Them Ever Being In A Relationship, Says It’s Funny How People Lie To Get Popularity
One of the things about celebs that I really enjoy is those he-said-she-said moments. I mean, one celeb would claim something and then the other one would blatantly deny its existence. And the best part of it all is that you never know who to trust but the drama that you get out of it is chef’s kiss. Just take the recent example of Urvashi Rautela and Rishabh Pant. For those unversed, in a recent interview, Urvashi Rautela recalled an incident around a “Mr RP” who waited for her for hours in a hotel lobby but she could not meet him. She went on to say that it was the media who ruined their relationship. And now to that, Rishabh Pant replied with a cryptic message wherein he rubbishes her claims and even takes a dig at her saying that she is doing all of this to gain popularity.
Before we get to the present, let’s see how and where all of this started. So, back in 2018, Urvashi Rautela and Rishabh Pant were often photographed together by the media as they stepped out for lunch or events. But this story took a turn for the worse when there were rumours that the cricketer had blocked the actress on Whatsapp. Later on, there was some news about how they had mutually decided to part ways and blocked each other on the app.

And now, 4 years later, Urvashi Rautela in an interview narrated an incident where a man waited for her in a hotel lobby for hours but she could not meet him due to her busy schedule. And even though she denied revealing the man’s identity, she addressed him as “RP” which of course was assumed to be Rishabh Pant.
Following this, Rishabh Pant took to his Instagram story to post a cryptic message that not only rubbishes the claims she has made but also asks Urvashi Rautela to leave him alone and stop lying.

In his Instagram story, Rishabh Pant wrote, “It’s funny how people lie in interviews just for some meager popularity and for hitting the headlines. Sad how some people are so thirsty for fame and name. May god bless them #merapichachoroBehen #jhutkibhilimithotihai” The two hashtags mean ‘leave me alone sister’ and ‘there is a limit to lying’.
Needless to say, people have assumed this message to be for Urvashi Rautela. I mean, it isn’t as cryptic as one would think, is it?
