Rihanna Becomes America’s Youngest Self-Made Billionaire Woman At The Age Of 34 On Forbes’ List

Global pop sensation, Rihanna has been bestowed with the title of the youngest self-made billionaire woman in the US as named by Forbes’ annual list. The 34-year-old singer has a net worth of $1.4 billion. She is placed at the 21st position on Forbes’ annual list of America’s richest self-made women and she is the only billionaire under the age of 40. In 2020, Kylie Jenner was named on the Forbes’ World’s Youngest Billionaires List but the title was taken away from her after the publication made allegations of discrepancies in the tax documents.

Apart from her successful singing career, Rihanna owns a beauty and cosmetics line called Fenty Beauty which is co-owned by French Luxury retailer LVMH. Fenty Beauty generated over $550 million in revenue in 2020 alone. The global pop icon also holds a 30% stake in the Savage x Fenty lingerie line which raised $1 billion valuations in February 2021. While we’re truly proud of Rihanna, money has never really been her priority and she hopes to use her wealth for a good cause. In an interview with The New York Times’ T Magazine in 2019, the singer had said that money is not for her and that she always thought that she can help someone else. She went on to add that the world has made us believe that the wrong things are a priority which is we have missed the core of life and what it means to be alive.
