Odia TV Actress Rashmirekha Ojha’s Father Blames Her Live-In Partner For Death Despite Suicide Note
Rashmirekha Ojha, an Odia TV serial actress, allegedly committed suicide at her home in the Gadasahi district of the city’s Nayapalli police limits on June 18 night. Her father claims that her live-in partner, Santosh Patra, was involved in her killing. At roughly 10.30 p.m., her body was discovered hanging from a ceiling fan. When police were notified, they arrived on the scene, recovered the body for a post-mortem, and began a probe into the matter.
The police, on the other side, discovered a message on a table near the deceased. The note is thought to have been written by the actress. In the note, it is stated that no one should be held accountable for her death. Her reason for taking such measures was unknown.
A complaint of unnatural death has been filed in the case, according to a senior police officer. On the night of June 18, the 23-year-old actress was discovered hanging from the ceiling of her leased home. The police are awaiting the results of her post-mortem examination.

According to reports, the cause of death can be determined after a post-mortem report is submitted, and a further investigation will be conducted based on the autopsy findings. Ojha, who originated from Sanketpatana in the Jagatsinghpur district’s Tirtol police limits, had moved to Bhubaneswar after finishing a +2 course to pursue a career in acting.
The DCP explained that at first glance, it appears to be a suicide, as she left a note claiming that no one was to blame for her death. Patra informed Ojha’s father of her death, according to the media.

He said that on Saturday, their calls to her went unanswered. He continued to say that Santosh delivered the news to them later and that the house’s landlord said that he and Rashmi lived as husband and wife. Rashmi’s father claims that was something that they were completely unaware of. Her father also said he also has no idea who wrote the alleged suicide note and if they are both married, he insists that Santosh is the killer. He asserted that a criminal investigation should be opened, and Santosh should be imprisoned.
Ojha, who was born in the Jagatsinghpur district, rose to prominence on Odia television with her role in the daily serial Kemiti Kahibi Kaha.
