Priyanka Chopra Says She Can’t Wait To Say Dialogues In Hindi And Dance In The Upcoming Movie ‘Jee Le Zaraa’
I have to say, watching Priyanka Chopra have a foot in Bollywood and the other Hollywood, often has me wondering how she manages it all. It definitely doesn’t seem like an easy job to do. This thought also led to another one – it has been quite a while since we saw Priyanka Chopra doing a Bollywood movie, isn’t it? Not going to lie, I have missed seeing her on the bi screen delivering Hindi dialogues. Just the way she has. Yep, in a recent interview, Priyanka Chopra Jonas spoke about her upcoming movie, Jee Le Zaraa, alongside Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. In the interview, she spoke about how she told Farhan Akhtar, the director of the movie, that she better have a dance sequence and that she can’t wait to say dialogues in Hindi.
Priyanka Chopra, talking about her next Bollywood movie, Jee Le Zaraa, revealed that she will start filming the movie with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt by the end of next year. She even said that it had been a while since she delivered Hindi dialogues or danced to songs.
In her interview, the actress said, “It’s been a long time since I’ve spoken dialogues in Hindi or I’ve danced to songs. So I told Farhan (Akhtar), I said, ‘I better be dancing in this movie’.” Jee Le Zaraa starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif, will be directed by Farhan Akhtar who wrote the script with Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar.
The Matrix Resurrections actress also spoke about how it has been seven years since she started working in Hollywood and how it took time for people there to have confidence in her as an actress. Priyanka Chopra also says that she and other South Asians have worked hard and pushed open the doors for themselves, demanding a seat on the table with other Hollywood celebrities.

In another interview with Times Of India, Priyanka addressed the ‘Jonas’ drop she made from her social media accounts. She addressed her fans and asked them to take a chill since it was just social media and not that big of a deal. She further explained that the reason she dropped the ‘Jonas’ from her social media handles was that she wanted to have the same username on both – Twitter and Instagram.
Talking about her personal life, Priyanka Chopra Jonas says that going with Nick Jonas for shopping is the best thing ever since she never has patience when it comes to shopping. The White Tiger actress said, “I’m not much of a shopper, I don’t have the patience to go to five different shops. I need it to be made easy for me which happens at Harrods because they have everything under one roof… My husband, Nick, he’s the best shopper, the most efficient – and he actually likes it.”
On her professional front, Priyanka Chopra is planning to expand herself as a producer and also create opportunities for people of colour, Indians, and for herself as well. She says she wants to give herself opportunities for roles that may or may not be written for her.
Honestly, sometimes when I see how much the actress has achieved in her life, I really feel proud of her. I mean, she has literally worked hard all her life and you can see that it has paid off and how.
