Mother-daughter relationships are so precious, no? I love my mom but we have our fair share of fights too. And after every fight, my mom has a small list of do’s and dont’s for me to follow (not that it really happens but you know what I mean). She’s the cutest mother on earth is what I feel. This year, as I was deciding my New Year’s resolutions, my mom had a tiny (not really) list of things that she thought I should include in my list of resolutions. And it seems like she’s not the only cute mom setting some resolutions for her daughter. In a recent Instagram video shared by fashion designer Masaba Gupta, Bollywood actress Neena Gupta too had some New Year’s resolutions for her daughter to follow and it’s adorable AF!

In the video shared by the fashion designer, Neena Gupta gave her three ‘tips’ (read warnings) for 2022. Tip number one for Masaba Gupta from her actress mother was to never scream at her even if she’s wrong. For tip number two, Neena Gupta asked Masaba to never call her ‘buddhi’ ever! Isn’t she the most precious mom? We definitely need to protect her at all costs! Tip number three for the fashion designer was a typical desi mom advice. The Badhaai Ho actress advised her daughter that ‘slow and steady wins the race’. Well, we’ve always loved Neena Gupta’s sense of humour and her cute advice.

There’s no doubt that I love my mom but just like any other millennial daughter, I have those moments when I scream at my mom too (so sorry, Maa). But being a mother, she lets it slide (always) and I couldn’t be more thankful to her for accepting me the way I am. And Neena Gupta’s message for her daughter is relatable on so many levels. I can bet that I’m not the only one who’s yelled at her mom! We’ve all done it some time or the other without even acknowledging that it’s such a nasty move.
