Malaika Arora Opens Up About Being A Single Mother To Arhaan After Divorce, Says “I Felt Scared, Vulnerable, Frightened”

They have to deal with all the parental duties while juggling work without batting an eyelid. Recently, Malaika Arora opened up about being a working single mother to son Arhaan after her divorce with Arbaaz Khan.

Malaika Arora is all about breaking the barrier in style but that does not mean that she didn’t face any difficulties in her life. Recently, she shared her frightening experience of being a working single mother. The Housefull actress said that she felt the world was crashing on her head when she took the decision to be a single mother. She knew that she had to take care of her son Arhaan. “When I took that decision or that step to be a single mother, I didn’t (pause). At that point, you always feel that the whole world is crashing on your head and how you gonna manage I think that’s a very normal human reaction. But having said that I also knew that it is something I have to take on. I have to be responsible. I have a son, he is growing up, he needs me more than ever. I have to be that right example,” she said in an interview quoted by Bollywood Life.

She also added that she did feel scared, vulnerable, frightened at that time but she took small steps. She mentioned that it was important for her to be a working single mother.
In 1998, she tied the knot with actor and filmmaker Arbaaz Khan. Nearly 19 years after their marriage, they announced their separation in 2017. However, Arbaaz and Malaika ended the relationship on a good note and decided to co-parent their son. Now, Malaika is dating Arjun Kapoor and the lovebirds keep flooding our feeds with cute pictures every now and then.
