On ‘Lock Upp’, Mandana Karimi Reveals Secret Relationship With A Director, Getting An Abortion After ‘Planned Pregnancy’
Kangana Ranaut’s show Lock Upp has been making headlines ever since it started. If it’s not a new controversy every day, it’s someone sharing a secret that sends shockwaves across the entertainment industry. And this time it is yet another shocking secret. In the latest episode, Mandana Karimi shared one of the biggest secrets of her life in the show hosted by Kangana Ranaut. The actress revealed all about her secret relationship with a director and her pregnancy.
A promo of Lock Upp shows Mandana Karimi sharing her secret in order to save herself from eviction. In the presence of the host, the reality show contestant gets emotional while sharing that no one is aware but when she was struggling with her separation she had a secret relationship. Sharing that she was secretly involved with a very well-known director, the actress said that he is known to be someone who talks about women’s rights and is an idol for many. She went on to add that they planned a child together but when it happened things turned out to be different. The promo does not reveal the entire story shared by Mandana Karimi but it does show host Kangana Ranaut looking visibly upset as she hears the contestant break down while telling her story.

During the episode, Mandana Karimi shared that they had planned the pregnancy but when it actually happened, the director backed off and told her that he was emotionally not ready to become a father while revealing that he already has a child. She further shared that he questioned her pregnancy and told her that he does not believe that she could get pregnant so easily at the age of 33 years. Speaking further the actress said that they went to her best friend’s house to discuss the matter. Mandana Karimi went on to reveal that the director started talking to her friend and shared that he was not ready and upon hearing this she realised that he had planned this to get her friends to convince her to have an abortion.
The actress revealed that she apologised to her friends and went back home and that’s when he started telling her that she should understand that things are tough as he has an ex who is still not over him and there’s a public case against him. “I had to take a decision because I come from a broken home. I took the step and I did have an abortion. I do not want to name that person because he does not deserve to be known by his name,” said the actress in her confession on Lock Upp. The confession managed to bring tears to Kangana Ranaut’s eyes. Well, we know this must be hard for Mandana Karimi but we’re glad she’s opening up and getting the conversation going about abortion. More power to you, girl.
