Jodhpur HC Grants Relief To Karan Johar, Hardik Pandya, And KL Rahul For Controversial Statements On ‘Koffee With Karan’
Koffee With Karan is one sensational talk show that over the years has been a part of many controversies. In fact, some of those controversies have even landed the talk show host, Kara Johar, and his guests into some pretty serious trouble. Just take the instance of the time when cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul graced the couch on the sixth season of Koffee With Karan and made some pretty controversial remarks that ended up with them having a case filed against them. And now, four years later, the Jodhpur High Court (HC) has granted relief to Karan Johar, Hardik Pandya, and KL Rahul over their comments.
In 2018, during the Koffee With Karan season 6 starring cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul, the trio started chatting about their flings and sex lives. As a result of that, when the show aired, a lot of people took offence to their remarks related to their sex lives and perceived it as “sexist, racist, and misogynistic.” This led to a case being registered against the trio in Jodhpur, three years ago, by DR Meghwal.

And now, the Jodhpur HC has granted relief to Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul, and Karan Johar for their controversial remarks against women. The reports suggest that the HC disposed of the case lodged by DR Meghwal after it found the three of them to be ‘innocent’.
In fact, this controversy grew so much that after the Koffee With Karan episode aired, the BCCI dropped Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul from the first one-day international (ODI) against Australia. They were even issued show cause notices by the BCCI for their comments on women.

After this episode of Koffee With Karan starring Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul aired and the controversy it sparked, the BCCI was prompted to consider whether players should even be allowed to appear on shows which have nothing to do with the sport.
