Television actress Karishma Tanna and Varun Bangera’s wedding is one of the most anticipated weddings of this year. The Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi actress will tie the knot with Mumbai-based businessman Varun Bangera on February 5. And according to the media reports, their pre-wedding rituals including mehendi and sangeet will start from February 4 onwards. FYI, Karishma’s beau Varun is from Mangalore, Karnataka and our girl was born and brought in a typical Gujarati family. And the actress has, reportedly, decided to honour both of their cultural backgrounds by incorporating both Gujarati and South Indian rituals in their wedding. In fact, Karishma has also planned to incorporate her soon-to-be hubby’s culture in one of her wedding looks. Yepp, you read that right. The actress, who is curating her wedding looks all by herself, has selected a pink Kanjivaram saree with gold detailing along with some authentic South Indian jewellery for one of her wedding functions. Karishma will wear the saree after her bidaai as she enters her in-laws’ house for the first time as a newlywed bride. Hmm, she’s all set to impress her in-laws already!

According to the reports, Karishma and Varun wanted a big fat Indian wedding but had to change their plans owing to the rapidly rising Covid-19 cases. The lovebirds had to shorten their guest list and the actress is also planning to cancel her bachelorette party.

For the unversed, Karishma and Varun met one and a half years ago at a common friend’s party. Soon after their first meeting, they two started dating each other and now, they are all set to tie the knot.
