Karan Johar Opens Up About His Relationship With Social Media. Ae Trolls Hai Mushkil.
If there is a Bollywood celeb that knows everything about everything and is always in the limelight then it has to be hands-down Karan Johar. The filmmaker that is more often than not on the receiving end of social media trolling and who takes it with all the sass and class one can muster. Recently, in an interview, the director opened up about how he gets trolled a lot on social media and how that has stopped bothering him anymore. In fact, while talking about the trolling he receives, he even sent a special message to all the trolls who just don’t know where to stop.

In an interview with Janice Sequeria, Karan Johar who is pretty active on social media opened up about his relationship with it and how he deals with all the trolling that comes his way. He revealed that he is not on social media to distance himself from his filmmaking or his storyline narrative which is a very integral part of who he is.

The filmmaker asserted that if he has a film that is set to release or he has to announce an upcoming project then he is going to use social media platforms as a medium to connect with people. He further added that he has stopped caring about all the negativity and the trolling he faces on social media and says he has started focusing on love.

The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil filmmaker revealed that when he scrolls through his comment section, his eyes look only at the comments which have hearts. He said, “Commenting on my sexuality, commenting on what they believe I am, you know, I’ll be 50 in May and I’m so grateful for so much.”
