We all love Kapil Sharma. This very desi television comedian has been leaving us in splits for a very long time now. Kapil Sharma has been known to be a television comic and not a stand-up comedian and that’s something I personally agree with because we’ve all seen the different ways he curates his content. But now, he has been working on reinventing himself as a stand-up comedian with his upcoming Netflix special – I’m Not Done Yet. Well, I’m sure Kapil Sharma will never really be ‘done’! And get this, this show is all set to be released on the OTT platform on 28th January.
Ever since Netflix and Kapil Sharma announced the show, they have been keeping us hooked by sharing little video snippets from the show every now and then. In a recent clip shared by Netflix, Kapil Sharma has opened up about how he proposed to his wife Ginni Chatrath. The comedian revealed that while working in Theater with Ginni he would give her work that would require her to call him and share updates with him. On one such occasion, Kapil was drunk when Ginni called him and instead of exchanging the usual pleasantries, the comedian asked her if she loved him. He shared that he drank quality alcohol instead of the local toddy because it was his drink that gave him the courage to ask his wife out. But it was Ginni Chatrath’s sassy and witty response to the comedian’s question about what made her choose him that had us ROFLing!
