So along with hitting Depp when he would try to leave, Heard has also been accused by him of threatening to commit suicide each time he tried to walk away. He has testified that Heard has spoken of wanting to kill herself on several occasions. He said her threats were something that were always at the back of his head which concerned him. He admitted that he used abused substances and alcohol so that he was able to protect and distance himself from Heard’s constant verbal abuse. He also spoke about a time when he was begging Heard to give him his medications and she wouldn’t as it wasn’t time yet.
