Jennifer Lawrence Expresses Anger Over Overturning Of Roe V. Wade, “White Men Who Can’t Find A Clitoris, Debate Uteruses”
Isn’t it hard to just communicate and deal with people who don’t have political opinions? Like in a world where women are losing their reproductive rights, there are people who refuse to even have an opinion. Ever since Roe v Wade was overturned, women in the US have lost the right to bodily autonomy. And we’re not the only ones upset about our gender being forced to bear kids and be turned into baby-making machines. In a recent interview, Jennifer Lawrence expressed her anger over the overturning of Roe v. Wade. She also pointed out that she just cannot deal with people who aren’t political.

Speaking about politics, Jennifer Lawrence told Vogue that she just cannot deal with people who aren’t political. Pointing out that the people living in the United States have to have political opinions, the Oscar-winning actress said that politics is killing people in the country. She also shared how politics has created a rift within her family members, especially with her father. She opened up about how she has worked hard to forgive her father and her family and understands that the information that reaches them is much much different from what she knows. Discussing the divide that took place after Donald Trump’s election she questioned, “How could you raise a daughter from birth and believe that she doesn’t deserve equality? How?”

Talking about Roe v. Wade, Jennifer Lawrence revealed that she got pregnant in her 20s and planned to have an abortion until she had a miscarriage. Further, she expressed her rage about how the court took away women’s right to abortion. In fact, the actress went on to call out the fact that now male politicians will be deciding for women and their bodies. Calling it out she said, “It’s too personal to a female’s existence to watch white men debate over uteruses when they from the bottom of their hearts can’t find a clitoris.”
